A Babymoon at Sea
Calm water, slow days, no rushing. A short charter for the final pre-baby trip.
A growing number of couples the office quotes are planning a short charter as a final pre-baby trip — usually two or three nights, sometime in the second trimester, before the third becomes uncomfortable. The brief is almost always the same: calm water, slow days, no rushing, no late nights.
The yacht charter, properly planned, suits this brief better than almost any other form of travel. Short legs only, sheltered anchorages, a chef briefed on dietary restrictions, a second cabin made up as a daytime nap room (even if you don't think you'll use it, you will).
