Day routes

Three half-days we know by heart.

Most charters are a single day. Three routes around Ibiza and Formentera — same captains, same anchorages, same restaurants. The starting point for the day; the final shape is your call.

Espalmador, Illetas & Cala Saona
Formentera · West

Espalmador, Illetas & Cala Saona

The Formentera classic. North-end anchor at Espalmador for a paddle-board swim, then south to Illetas for lunch at Juan y Andrea or Beso Beach, finishing on the red-cliffed inlet of Cala Saona with paella to go.

Espalmador

Undeveloped, no bars, no shops — sand and crystal water. Paddleboards launch off the bow.

Ses Illetes

The most sought-after beach in the Med. Lunch at Juan y Andrea, Beso Beach or Es Moli de Sal.

Cala Saona

Red cliffs, mirror-flat water. Paella to go from Sol Cala Saona; El Tiburon or El Pirata if you'd rather sit.

Full-day charter · best for swim-and-lunch days with the family.

Levante, Chezz Gerdi & Es Pujols Caves
Formentera · East

Levante, Chezz Gerdi & Es Pujols Caves

The east coast — wilder than the west, named for the summer levante wind. A Seabob ride at Levante, lunch at Chezz Gerdi, then the rocky caves of Es Pujols off the beaten track. Best on the days the wind blows from the west.

Levante

East-facing beach named after the summer trade wind. Snorkel and Seabob ride from the swim platform.

Chezz Gerdi

Italian-owned, the top table on the east coast. Mediterranean menu plus home-made ice cream by the tub.

Es Pujols Caves

Steep cliffs, turquoise water, rocky caves the larger boats can't reach. Snorkel kit on.

Full-day charter · wind-dependent — runs best when the levante is off.

Salinas, Cala Jondal & Es Vedrà
Ibiza · South & West

Salinas, Cala Jondal & Es Vedrà

The south-coast run. Beach bars at Salinas first, lunch at Blue Marlin Cala Jondal, then west to drop anchor under Es Vedrà for the sunset. The reputed most magnetic place on earth, and the photograph everyone goes home with.

Salinas

1.5 km of white sand by the 3,000-year-old salt flats. Beso Beach, Malibu, Jockey Club, Sa Trinxa.

Cala Jondal

Turquoise bay, mega yachts, Blue Marlin Ibiza Beach Club. Fly-board sessions on request.

Es Vedrà

400m of rock straight out of the sea. Phoenician goddess Tanit lore, magnetic-anomaly stories, the best sunset anchor on the island.

Sunset charter · the right ending to an Ibiza day.

Routes are suggestions. The captain shapes the day around the wind, the swell, and the table you most want to be at when lunch arrives.

The Long Weekend

Friday embarkation, Sunday morning at Espalmador, evening at Cala Saona, Monday lap of the south of Formentera, return on Tuesday via the lee of Es Vedrà. Three nights at anchor, one mid-trip ashore evening at Es Ministre if you'd like it. The format the office runs most often.

Pitiusas Loop

The full Balearic short course. Boarding in Marina Botafoc, evenings at anchor in Espalmador and Cala Salada, lunches at Beso Beach and at the table off Es Vedrà. Two nights off Formentera, two off the Ibizan west coast, last evening back at the marina for dinner ashore.

Week Aboard

Seven days at the rhythm the boat sets. Two days easing in along the south coast, three days in the centre with the Formentera crossings, one mid-week ashore night to reset everyone, one unplanned day on the seventh. Chef does breakfast, lunch and dinner; you stop thinking about food.

  • · Two Formentera nights
  • · Mid-week night ashore (optional)
  • · Es Vedrà twice
7 nights · Tramuntana Coast
7nights
≈ 280 nm

Mallorca · western cliffs

Tramuntana Coast

Mallorca's western coastline at the pace of a single yacht. From Port d'Andratx via Sant Elm and Sa Dragonera, then up the Tramuntana — Banyalbufar, Sa Foradada, the cliffs above Deià, Sa Calobra, finishing at Port de Pollença. Anchorages most charters never see, by virtue of the boat's draft.

  • · Sa Dragonera nature reserve
  • · Sa Foradada sundown
  • · Cala Deià lunch
10 nights · Balearic Circuit
10nights
≈ 400 nm

Ibiza · Mallorca · Cabrera

Balearic Circuit

The classic ten-night charter — Ibiza and Formentera at the front, a slow crossing to Cabrera, three nights anchored among the dolphins, then the Mallorca west coast: Sóller, Deià, the cliffs of Sa Calobra. Returns via the south coast of Mallorca with stops at Mondragó and Cala Pi.

  • · Cabrera nature reserve
  • · Sa Calobra anchorage
  • · Deià dinner ashore
14 nights · Two-Week Balearics
14nights
≈ 600 nm

Ibiza · Mallorca · Menorca · Cabrera

Two-Week Balearics

All four Balearic islands at an unhurried pace. The full ten-night circuit, then a four-night Menorca extension — Mahón, Cala Galdana, the wild south coast. Two ashore nights mid-trip at the Hacienda Na Xamena and the Hotel del Almirante in Menorca. Three crossings; nothing rushed.

  • · Hacienda Na Xamena ashore night
  • · Menorca wild south
  • · Cala Galdana
18 nights · Italian Riviera Run
18nights
≈ 1,200 nm

Balearics → Corsica → Côte d'Azur → Liguria

Italian Riviera Run

A three-week northern arc. Mallorca to Bonifacio overnight, four nights tracing Corsica's east coast, then Saint-Tropez, Monaco and Cannes for the Côte d'Azur leg, finishing at Portofino with a final dinner at Splendido. Returns by sea to Marina Botafoc or by helicopter from Nice — your call.

  • · Bonifacio strait
  • · Saint-Tropez evening anchor
  • · Monaco night berth
20 nights · Western Mediterranean

Balearics · Sardinia · Corsica · Côte d'Azur

Western Mediterranean

A three-week passage across the western basin. Begins in Marina Botafoc, threads through Formentera, Mallorca, and Menorca; crosses to the Costa Smeralda for three nights of Sardinian dinners; through the Bonifacio strait into Corsica; up to Saint-Tropez and Monaco; returning the long way through the Côte d'Azur. Chef aboard from the first morning to the last evening.

  • · Costa Smeralda · Porto Cervo
  • · Bonifacio strait crossing
  • · Calvi & Saint-Tropez

About

A Swiss house,
a global service.

Aurelius Society is a private members' collective for yachts, villas and aviation. Headquartered in Switzerland, with a current fleet of fifty-four yachts — forty-four in Ibiza, two in Marbella, four in Dubai, four in Miami — and a footprint that follows wherever members spend the season.

Captains and crews are long-standing relationships. Provisioning, concierge and the details around the day come from a small team in one place. Single point of contact. Single invoice.

Membership is by introduction. Smaller circles, longer relationships, quieter days — that is the operating principle, from Lake Geneva to Marina Botafoc.

“The yacht is one decision. The day is a hundred small ones — handled, quietly.”

Questions

Common ground, before you write.

For high-season weekends (mid-June through August), two to four weeks. For shoulder season, a week is usually enough. We've also turned around same-day charters when the right hull was free — never assume it's too late, just write.
