The Honeymoon Charter

Seven days, no programme, no other guests. The format we recommend for a real exhale.

For a honeymoon, our recommendation is seven days. The first three are the way in; the last four are what the couple will talk about for years. Two cabins is enough — the master is used, the second remains made up and empty.

A welcome arrangement on day one, a quiet second arrangement on day five, and a photographer for one hour at sundown on day three. Everything else is left to the couple and the captain.

Quietly,
in the background.

  • 01A welcome arrangement in the master cabin on day one — bouquet, card, your preferred champagne
  • 02A chef briefed on both partners' preferences without it being announced
  • 03A photographer for one hour at sundown on day three only
  • 04A small printed itinerary in the cabin the couple can change at any point
  • 05A second discreet arrangement on day five the couple doesn't expect
  • 06An optional pre-wedding charter — six hours for the closest sixteen guests, the day before the ceremony

The shape of the day

Sample timeline.

  1. Day 1

    Marina Ibiza → south coast

Short, slow first day; the couple sleeps on board for the first time.

  2. Day 2

    South coast & Es Vedrà

First long lunch at anchor; first sundown on the bow.

  3. Day 3

    Crossing to Formentera

Espalmador morning, Illetes for lunch, S'Alga overnight.

  4. Day 4

    Formentera south

Es Caló des Mort, a long lunch ashore at Es Ministre, overnight at Cala Saona.

  5. Day 5

    The unstructured day

Wherever the couple wants — a favourite cove revisited, or somewhere new.

  6. Day 7

    Final breakfast at anchor

    Disembark by 11:00.

Questions we hear

Most-asked.

How long should a honeymoon charter be?+

Seven days is what we recommend most. Five days is excellent if a week feels too long; three days is the absolute minimum to settle into the rhythm of the boat. We don't recommend two days for a honeymoon — too short to fully exhale.

Can the wedding ceremony happen on the yacht?+

Yes — for a legal ceremony in Spain we work with a celebrant in Ibiza Town; for a symbolic ceremony the captain (or a person of your choosing) can officiate at anchor. We coordinate with your wedding planner if you have one.
