Stop by stop

09:30 — Depart Marina Botafoc. Heading south, the Old Town fortress falls behind on the starboard side. Twenty-five minutes of cruise clears Sa Caleta.

11:00 — Espalmador. Anchor in 3m of sand between Espalmador island and Formentera. First swim. Coffee.

13:00 — Illetes sand bar. Tender to the beach. Lunch at Beso or Juan y Andrea (book a week ahead in August). Back aboard by 16:00.

16:30 — Cala Saona. Cruise to the west coast of Formentera for an afternoon swim and a moment of quiet before sunset.

18:30 — Es Vedrà sunset. The rock turns gold for 45 minutes. Champagne. Music low.

21:00 — Marina Botafoc. Dinner reservation arrived at by 21:30 — Cipriani at the marina, or Sa Punta in Talamanca.

Variations

The order can flip — sunset at Cala Saona, sunset at Punta Galera, or skip Es Vedrà entirely for a quiet north-coast day. The three sunset routes piece maps the alternatives.
