ala Jondal is the long pebble cove on the south coast of Ibiza that the Blue Marlin took from quiet anchorage to one of the most-photographed lunch tables in the Mediterranean. The bay is generously sized, anchorage is straightforward, and the water — though cloudier than the west coast — is warm and protected. The office books the Blue Marlin table directly; the yacht stays in the bay.

It works as an overnight anchorage in normal westerly weather — sheltered enough that the boat barely moves. We avoid it when easterlies build through the afternoon.
