What Fits Inside a 25-Metre Yacht?

·4 min read·Aurelius Society

Direct answer

A 25-metre sport flybridge typically holds 8 sleeping guests across 4 cabins, a salon for 10–12 to dine, an aft cockpit with U-seating for 8, a flybridge with second helm and a sun pad, plus a swim platform that opens at anchor. Below is one yacht in our fleet laid out.

The lower deck — sleeping

  • Master cabin — full beam amidships. King bed, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite with shower. Roughly 16–20 m².
  • VIP cabin — forward, also full beam. Queen bed, ensuite. 12–15 m².
  • 2× twin cabins — port and starboard, with convertible single → double beds. Shared day head between them. 8–10 m² each.
  • Crew quarters — aft, below the engine room. Separate access for the captain and stewardess. Off-limits to guests.

The main deck — living

  • Salon — sofa, dining table for 10, large windows port and starboard. The room for late lunches and rainy moments.
  • Galley — full kitchen, usually open-plan or partially separated. Where the chef works on weekly charters.
  • Aft cockpit — covered outdoor seating for 8, the lunch table when at anchor. Opens onto the swim platform.
  • Foredeck sun pad — for two to four guests. The quiet end of the boat.

The flybridge — the highlight

A second helm position, a wet bar, dining for 6–8, a large sun pad. The flybridge is where the late afternoon happens on every charter — light, breeze, view. On 80ft+ yachts it gets a Jacuzzi too.

The swim platform — the social space

Hydraulic, drops to water level at anchor. Holds two to four adults, plus the swim ladder, paddleboards, snorkel kit. This is where the day actually happens at the anchorages on the Formentera route.

An example in the fleet

Billie Jean (Fairline Targa 52) is the canonical 16m sport flybridge — three cabins, full galley, flybridge, beach club. See it in person on the homepage fleet section.
